Dash Event Company is family-owned and operated by the fiery Italian Mother/Daughter dynamic duo; Danielle and Ashley who are East Coast natives, dedicated, detailed, and driven to make sure your wedding day is perfect. How does hiring a wedding planner change the couple's experience on their wedding day?

It changes their entire experience from start to finish. Today's couples are busier than ever and let's be real, planning a wedding is a full-time job, which is why it's ours! We take a lot of pride in getting to know our couples as much as we can in the amount of time we are given to pair them with the vendors, we think best suit their personalities & budgets.

We reach out to those vendors to check on availability, pricing & packages then we present the options to the clients and have them decide from there. So we are doing all that tedious leg work to help narrow in on their decisions. Once vendors are secured, we remain the point of contact for any logistical planning so the couple never has to worry about delivery/pick up times, power sources, set up/tear down, etc.

We work on a design by using their inspiration and making it unique to them since we have seen what works, what's in, and what's out! Our timeline is our lifeline! We review the timeline with the couple multiple times throughout the planning process to make sure it is what they want!

As we get closer to the wedding and the couple has approved the timeline, we send it to vendors so they know where they need to go, with what, for how long - again, all logistics are handled! As far as day-of, we are liaison between them, the vendors, the guests, the bridal party, the venue - making sure everyone is where they need to be!

Anything that is not a direct responsibility of another vendor, so anything the couple is personally purchasing, that can be signage, guestbook, menus, place cards, card box, etc - we will take from them the week of the wedding, set up & take down at the end of the night. We take those items and either put them in their hotel suite or in someone's car who is going to be responsible that night, that way the couple does not have to ask a friend, parent, bridesmaids, or anyone to set anything up, take anything down - no one should have any responsibility on the wedding day besides us! :)

Photography - it's the only thing they walk away with!

What is one piece of advice for couples planning their wedding?

Do what YOU want to do, as long as it works logistically, we can do it - there are no traditions.
